Ranfer established Kenka Teas in Kenya in 1986. The company saw multiple tea personnel coming together to establish the company that was on its way to become one the three companies that supply tea to the Kenyan government.  Today, rebranded as Ranfer Teas Kenya owns a successful portfolio exporting tea to South Africa, Egypt, Pakistan, USA, Europe, Sri Lanka, etc. Ranfer Teas Kenya presently exports 16 million kilograms of tea with an annual turnover of $52.5 million.
